The Flag Center, We Raise Our Standard Daily

We don’t want to just sell you flags. We want you to want to fly them. We offer a variety of flags, from traditional offerings to custom-made choices. Ask us about the choices we can offer you. The Flag Center is your one-stop shop for your flag flying needs. We have poles and accessories in addition to our variety of flags. We offer retirement services for your old, worn, or tattered flags. With this service, you will learn the proper protocol for retiring your flag and see it folded properly one last time.

Company History

The Flag Center has been in its current location in Redding, CA for 32 years now. Originally, the company was founded by Carol Fielding, a member of the Annin family. Ms. Fielding sold the business to Rich Kenny who owned it for 15 years before selling it to us. We feel that it is our destiny to own The Flag Center at this particular point in time. It is our desire to be a strong force in the community. To that end, we both are involved in things like Quilts of Valor (the lady of the house) and projects benefiting schools (the gentleman of the house).

We feel it’s our duty to respect and honor the flag regardless of the culture around us. We take our duty seriously. Our flagship project reflects this philosophy.

Goals

We would like for our company to be more than a fleeting retail business. We want to provide an experience centered around flags and their accessories rather than just a shopping location.

We currently have customers who primarily search out patriotic merchandise. We’d like to attract customers who want to own a variety of flags. NASCAR, sports, rainbows, whatever your flag needs, we want to provide them for you.

Flagship Product

We are honored to have the US Ensign as our flagship product. The US Ensign is the American flag that is flown on the vessels of our maritime branches of service. With family members who were part of the US Navy, we take extra pride in this project. We are passionate about honoring our veterans and respecting American values.
