banners in our production department along with the volume that you are creating,
generally you can expect a 2-3 week turnaround time. If you need it sooner, don't panic,

What size flag should I use for my flagpole?

Generally, you want to have the fly (the long side) about 1/3 the size of the flagpole.
So, a 15' pole would go with a 3' x 5' flag while a 30' pole could use up to a 6' x 10' flag.

Do you install flagpoles?

We would be more then happy to install the flagpole for you! Our trained installers
will come to your residence or business and inspect the site to make sure that
it can be installed in the location that you want it and then we will install your flagpole
for you.

How long does a flag last?

This all depends on the fabric of your flag and how you take care of the flag. If you have a
nylon flag, normal weather conditions in your area and you do not leave up your flag
24 hours a day, you can expect the flag to last in great condition for approximately
90 days. After this time, it is not unusual to see some fading of the colors. A polyester flag
under the same conditions will generally last about a 1/3 longer then the nylon flags.

What can I do to make my flag last longer?

There are several things you can do to increase the length that a flag will last. One simple
way to do this is to not leave your flag up twenty-four hours a day. Doing so will expose
it to various types of weather that can wear a flag down such as rain and high winds.
Also, regularly inspect your flag for any signs of damage. A simple loose thread can be
snipped off to prevent it from eventually ruining the whole flag. Also, Accent Banner has
a repair and maintenance program that we can set up for you.

Nylon, polyester, cotton??? What type of fabric should I use for my flag???

First off, do you need this flag for indoor use or outdoor use? If this is for indoor use, we recommend using a nylon or cotton flag. Nylon flags can be used either indoor or outdoors, but cotton can only be used indoors. If this is for outdoor use, a nylon or polyester flag will do. Polyester is a heavy-duty kind of fabric and will last longer then a nylon flag will outside.

3' x 5'? Does that mean 3 feet wide? 3 feet high? 5 inches long? Help me!

' = feet

" = inches

The first number in a flag measurement is called the `Hoist' or the height. An easier
way to remember what the hoist means is that it is the side of the flag where
you will `hoist' the flag up the flagpole. The hoist always runs parallel to the flagpole

The second number is the `Fly' or the width. This is the part of the flag that will
be flapping in the wind. This always flies perpendicular to the flagpole.
